With over 10 years of experience handling countless pre-loved luxury items from designers like Chanel, Gucci, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and more, Becca’s Bags offers a designer authentication service—whether it’s for peace of mind or to dispute fraud.

How It Works
Becca’s Bags uses Entrupy, the industry’s “gold standard” authenticator. When Entrupy authenticates an item as genuine, a digital certificate is instantly generated and can be shared via text, email, or print. Each certificate is given a unique link, hosted on Entrupy’s servers for easy buyer verification, and backed by their financial guarantee against incidental losses. If an item is deemed inauthentic or unidentifiable, Entrupy provides a detailed explanation.

AUTHENTICATE WITH US IN FOUR EASY STEPS

1. Purchase the Authentication Service

Go to our Authentication Service, select the designer of your bag, and checkout.

2. Confirmation

After you've completed your purchase, our team will send detailed instructions within 72 business hours via email to set up a drop-off appointment, or give you the information to ship us your designer bag.

3. Authentication

After we receive your bag, we will authenticate it within 48 hours (exclusive of weekends/holidays).

4. Results

We'll get back to you with the result, and return your designer bag to you regardless of if it's authentic or not.

DESIGNERS WE AUTHENTICATE

Becca’s Bags can authenticate handbags from the following designers:
Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Celine, Chanel, Chloé, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Givenchy, Goyard, Gucci, Hermès, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Saint Laurent, and Valentino.

Please Note: In rare cases, typically for brand-new styles, Entrupy may be unable to authenticate the item, in which case the authentication fee will be refunded.

WHO WE AUTHENTICATE

At this time Becca's Bags only provides authentication services for Canadian customers.

WHAT IT INCLUDES

A 100% guaranteed certificate of authentication or a evidence letter explaining why the bag cannot be certified as authentic.

WHAT IT COSTS

$150 for all designers except Hermès, which is $400.

WHAT ITEMS DO YOU ACCEPT?
  • Becca’s Bags only authenticates handbags from the following designers:
    Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Celine, Chanel, Chloé, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Givenchy, Goyard, Gucci, Hermès, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Saint Laurent, and Valentino.
WHY WAS MY AUTHENTICATION SERVICE ORDER REFUNDED?

Your order may have been refunded for the following reasons:

  • Incorrect Designer selected (purchased the Valentino authentication instead of the Hermès authentication).
  • Designer not accepted (we only accept the designers listed for authentication).
  • Style not accepted (we only accept handbags).
  • Becca’s Bags reserves the right to cancel any service order at our discretion.
WHY WAS MY AUTHENTICATION SERVICE ORDER APPROVED BUT CANCELED AFTER I SENT IN MY ITEM?
  • The item did not match the original Authentication Service Order (incorrect designer or style, etc).
IS THE AUTHENTICATION SERVICE REFUNDABLE?
  • The Authentication Service is non-refundable unless the customer’s order is canceled prior to shipment or drop-off.
HOW DO I SHIP MY ITEM TO YOU?
  • You can send your items through any shipping provider (Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, etc.), with all shipping costs being the responsibility of the owner.

  • All shipments must include tracking. Once you’ve shipped your items, please send us the tracking number via email.

  • Shipping insurance is optional but at the owner's risk. Becca’s Bags is not liable for your items until we receive them. Any loss, theft, or damage during transit is the responsibility of the owner.
HOW DO I DROP OFF & PICK-UP MY ITEMS?
  • Local Drop-Off and Pick-Up is available free of charge in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

  • Local Drop-Off and Pick-Up is by appointment only.
IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF CANADA, CAN I STILL AUTHENTICATE WITH YOU?
  • At this time Becca's Bags only provides authentication services for Canadian customers. Non-Canadians please contact us by email.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PICK-UP MY ITEM AFTER AUTHENTICATION?
  • Items that are not picked-up within 7 days of authentication are deemed unclaimed and will be donated.
